Rob Schroeder was born Robert George Schroeder Jr. on August 24, 1966 in Oyster Bay, New York. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1984. He was forever encouraged to pursue writing for a living, but real life intruded on his dream. He spent 13 years of his life working in private security, and was exposed to law enforcement on the federal, state, and local levels. A lover of mystery fiction and crime fiction, he began to seriously pursue writing. He will author three book series, Peter Fontaine (crime fiction), his Psychological Thriller Collection, and fresh from his creative mind Mother's Son (crime fiction). Rob currently lives with writer/editor Amanda Alier in their home in Asheville, North Carolina.
